FAQs

What types of jobs should I send to your shop?

Print Media Services prides itself on being able to handle any job, large or small. However, for maximum cost-efficiency, our presses are optimized for short run, high quality color work. We print direct mail pieces, brochures, corporate reports, bound pieces for all types of industries and more.

Which file formats do you accept?

While PDFs are the most common file type that our clients submit, if you anticipate any changes in the artwork, it is always best to include the native art files, including:

  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Adobe InDesign
  • QuarkXpress
  • Adobe Photoshop

We are currently running Mac OSX with Adobe CS3.

PDF Specs

Press-ready with 12 pt offset trim marks, centered document. We can also supply Adobe Distiller settings if necessary.

How do you proof?

All works in progress must have client approval prior to production. Using industry-leading prepress protocols, your file is proofed and managed by our expert production team. We provide high resolution proofs and digital bluelines.

Can I come in for a press check?

Absolutely. We encourage our clients to be involved every step.

How do you deliver?

Regardless of whether your project delivers to one location or multiple, you can rest assure that our transportation partners, including UPS and FedEx for global distribution or our local carriers, will ensure your product gets where it needs to be on time.
